Students experiment with representing decimal fractions in a variety of ways. Students are presented with a decimal fraction shown both as a number and in words. They manipulate a range of representations to match the given fraction. The various representations include: counting frame, number line, odometer dial, common fraction, rectangular area model and circular area model.
